BCRA MIDGETS HEAD TO PLACERVILLE SPEEDWAY THIS SATURDAY

The mighty Bay Cities Racing Association Midgets continue their 71st season with their second of 3 trips to the El Dorado County Fairgrounds’ Placerville Speedway this Saturday. Scott Pierovich of Alamo, CA picked up this years first round at the ¼ mile clay oval.
Leading the charge is 2011 Championship points’ leader and 2 time Champion Nick Foster Jr. aboard Jim Fowlers #1 Beast/Esslinger and 2011 Dirt Championship points leader Shannon McQueen in her own #7 Spike/Esslinger.
Top contenders include 2009 Champion David Prickett in the Neverlift Motorsports #15 Spike/Van Dyne, 7 time Champion Floyd Alvis in his #18 Stealth/Esslinger, 1999 Champion Matt Streeter in his #14jr Spike/Fontana, 2010 Rookie of the Year Dillon Silverman in the RAM Racing #4a Spike/Ecotec, 2008 Rookie of the Year Nick Chivello in Cliff Blackwells #27b Stealth/Ford, 2007 Rookie of the Year Kevin Morris in Del Morris’s #17k Spike/Esslinger, Pete Davis in his Hot Head #00 Stealth/Esslinger, Britton Bock in his own #67 Spike/Esslinger and Danny Parker in Bob Roza’s #28 Stealth/Esslinger.
Joining the fray will also be J.R. Williams in his #74 Stealth/Ecotec, Connor Kassik in the Neverlift Motorsports #15n TCR/Van Dyne, Darrin Snider in Lauren Sniders #2k Stewart/Mopar, Dan Jones in his own #75 Spike/Ecotec, Travis Haugh in Rich Haughs #5a Maxim/Gearte and Thomas Doherty in the Walker #10 Stealth/Esslinger.
It is guaranteed excitement this weekend as the Midgets will be joined by the 360 Sprints and Pure Stocks. Pits open at 2pm with grandstands opening at 5pm. Qualifying starts at 6:30pm with racing beginning at 7pm. Adult tickets are $13 with Seniors and Juniors $11 and Kids $6.
