Port Royal Speedway – The August 6 Living Legends Dream Race at Port Royal Speedway has been cancelled due to pouring rains that have already deposited over an inch of water on the grounds and a dire prediction of additional torrential rainfall throughout the day and evening.
Make up date information will be announced in the near future as the speedway continues to plan on honoring Living Legends Keith Kauffman and Walt Dyer.
With vast numbers of fans and event contributors planning to attend the event from hours away, PRS Promotions officials made the timely decision at nearly noon in an effort to prevent unnecessary hardship.
The speedway returns to action August 13 with 410 sprints, late models, 305 sprints and the Deryl Stong Memorial for pro stocks at 7:30 PM. It will be York County Racing Club Night.
