The Bay Cities Racing Association Midgets throw the checkered flag on their 71st season this Saturday at the 3/8 mile clay Chowchilla Speedway. With the Championships have already been decided, every driver is focused on the win.
Leading the field into Chowchilla will be the 2012 BCRA Champion Nick Foster Jr. in the Jim Fowler #1 Beast/Esslinger and 2012 BCRA Dirt Champion Shannon McQueen in her #7 Spike/Esslinger. Also entered is previous Chowchilla feature winner Scott Pierovich in the Lance Pierovich #35 Spike/Mopar.
Top contenders for this event include David Prickett in the Neverlift Motorsports #15 Spike/Van Dyne, Pete Davis in his “Hothead” #00 Stealth/Esslinger, Dan Parker in the Bob Roza #28 Stealth/Esslinger, Floyd Alvis in his #83 Stealth/Gearte, Britton Bock in his #67 Spike/Esslinger, Bill Lindsey in the Floyd Alvis #18 Stealth/Esslinger, Nick Chivello in the Dan Chivello #27n Spike/Esslinger, Connor Kassik in the Neverlift Motorsports #15n TCR/Van Dyne, Harli White in the McQueen Racing #7s Spike/Esslinger, Kevin Morris in the Del Morris #17k Spike/Esslinger, Tom Doherety in the Walker Motorsports #66 Stealth/Esslinger, Ryan Shupe in the Walker Motorsports #10 Stealth/Esslinger, J.R. The 2011 BCRA Board of Directors will be hosting a free “Brats and Beverages” bar-b-que immediately following the nights races in the pits. Joining the Midgets will be the BCRA Midget Lites. Pits open at 2:00pm with practice beginning at 4:00pm.
