OCRS at OSP Postponed to June 9th

Tulsa OK — (May 12, 2012) — A late shower fell upon the Ada Oklahoma area where the Oil Capital Racing Series were set to tackle the Oklahoma Sports Park for the first of three visits to George Welch’s facility. The OCRS winged warriors will try again to continue the chase for the “Goodyear Tire & Rubber” championship trophy at OSP on Saturday June 9th where Sapulpa’s Danny “Caretaker” Smith currently leads Rose Oklahoma’s Jammin’ Jamie Passmore by 18 points.

The OCRS sprinters will now look to take on the challenge of the racy 28-degree high-banked track of the “Salina Highbanks Speedway” in Salina Oklahoma on Saturday May 19th.  The event will mark the first of three stops at the Highbanks for the 2012 season. Race fans will find added amenities such as: additional concession areas, an upper level smoking balcony and an upper level sports bar to join the five star “Finish Line” bar and grill.
