(Gardena, CA, July 3, 2012) Greg Alexander and the Chuck Tyler Motorsports Team are poised to make a big impression in front of a lot of people tomorrow night, July 4th, when Perris Auto Speedway hosts its biggest crowd of the year for the Firecracker 30 for the Amsoil USAC/CRA Sprint Cars. Also in action will be the PAS Senior Sprint Cars, California Lightning Sprint Cars and the biggest & brightest Fireworks Sky Concert in Riverside County. Spectator gates will open at 3:00 PM and the first race will be at 6:30.
After five weeks off, the Gardena, California based racer is chomping at the bit to get back in his powerful 410 sprint car. In his first four outings in 2012, the 23-year-old has a best finish of seventh in A main event action. The team will be trying to chase away the gremlins that have plagued them in the other three races. Despite the fact that they have only been contesting the races at Perris and have missed the four out of town races, Alexander still sits 16th in series points.
In addition to Saturday’s race, the team will be back at the PAS on July 28th for the “California Racers Hall of Fame Night,” show and they should have their 360 about ready to go for the USAC West Coast 360 Series.
