HOLTGRAVER KEEPS WINNING IN J&J’S

McKENZIE, TN – (July 3) Pittsburgh youngster Danny Holtgraver continued his strong 2012 campaign by winning another Sprint car race this past weekend. He was joined as a J&J Auto Racing winner last weekend by Kaley Gharst who was victorious in South Dakota. Eric Williams was victorious the previous weekend in Pennsylvania

PITTSBURGH (PA) MOTOR SPEEDWAY

Danny Holtgraver led every lap of the Outlaw 410 Sprint feature event at Pittsburgh (PA) Motor Speedway on Sunday night. Holtgraver wheeled the Kargo Quality Cars and Trucks, Alternative Power Source, DKW Transport sponsored No. D4 J&J to victory in the second heat and then took advantage of his pole position starting spot in the main event.

The victory was his sixth of the season.

Ed Lynch, Jr. finished second in his No. 2L J&J giving J&J a one-two finish at the western Pennsylvania dirt oval.

HUSET’S SPEEDWAY

Kaley Gharst pulled double duty on Sunday night at Huset’s Speedway. He had a No. 6 J&J in both the 360 and 410 class. He took the lead with six laps remaining in the 360 main event and went on to claim his first 360 victory in his first 360 race at the track this season.

He looked like he was going to make it a Gharst sweep as he led the 410 Outlaw Sprint Car feature with five laps remaining in the 25-lap race. He couldn’t hold off Gregg Baker and ended up finishing second.

MERCER RACEWAY PARK

Eric Williams was victorious at Mercer Raceway Park on June 23. He drove the Eric Williams Motorsport No. 7 HRE powered J&J to the win.
