PLYMOUTH, Wisc. (Sept. 18, 2012) – Bill Balog just keeps winning.
Balog bagged the Frank Filskov Memorial event at Sheboygan County Fairgrounds, part of the Bumper to Bumper IRA Outlaw Sprint Series for winged sprint cars.
Balog races on Goodyear Eagle Dirt Track Specials, as do all the drivers in the IRA Series. The tires supplied by Goodyear come from the same line the tiremaker sells to touring series around the nation. The same tires are supplied to weekly racing programs.
The Filskov Memorial race, a 27-lap chase, lasted six minutes as the 22-car starting field zipped around the venue with a caution flag.
Balog was followed across the finish line by Mike Kertscher, Mike Reinke, Scott Neitzel and Tommy Sextion.
