ADA, Ok. (Sept. 18, 2012) – Two champions were crowned at Oklahoma Sports Park.

Jamie Passmore clinched the OCRA championship for winged sprint cars and Whit Gastineau won the Oklahoma State Championship presented by Carter Maxwell.

Passmore, Gastineau and all the drivers at the OCRS race on Goodyear Eagles, the same tires used by most of the top sprint car programs in the country.

Two races remain in the OCRS season, but Passmore’s fourth-place finish netted him the points needed to lock him into the championship.

Gastineau won the race, followed by Fred Mattox, Harli White, Passmore and Danny Smith.

The state championship race was the sixth renewal of the series.
