We are sad to report that the founder of National Speed Sport News Chris Economaki has passed away at age 91. Through NSSN, announcing, along with television and radio appearances Economaki was one of the most well known and respected motorsports journalists. He was preceded in death by his wife Tommye and is survived by his two daughters, Corinne and Tina, and two grandchildren.
Services will be held at Nativity Church in Midland Park, New Jersey with a wake being held on October 1st from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. and a funeral mass October 2nd at 10:30 a.m.
