Pontoon Beach, IL — (October 5, 2012) — Friday night’s 4th DuPont “Gold Crown Midget Nationals” have been cancelled due to heavy rains. The event will conclude at Tri-City Speedway on Saturday night. A total of 48 cars competed during Thursday night’s preliminary, with Tracy Hines winning the 25-lap feature event.
