Van Wert, OH — (October 10, 2012) — Giving back to the people who support you is huge. In racing the same holds true and on Monday Craig Dollansky and the Big Game Treestands #7 team did just that stopping at Eaton Corporation in Van Wert, Ohio.
Having 1100 employees at the Van Wert location alone that specializes in hydraulics, the team was able to showcase the #7 sprinter and answer questions from employees about competing with the World of Outlaws and the exciting sport of sprint car racing.
“It was good to get to Aeroquip’s operation in Van Wert and meet some of the people that make some of the products we use,” commented Dollansky. “We got to visit with the employees and have some fun along with touring the plant that is a half-million square feet. They are a great supporter of our race team and that is going to continue. We were happy to be able to stop in and show them the car and where their product goes.”
With Ohio being a hotbed of dirt track racing, especially Eldora Speedway located not to far away, employees quickly turned to fans as apparel and ticket packages for 2013 World of Outlaws events were raffled off as well as ‘The Crowd Pleaser’ Craig Dollansky signing autographs and taking pictures with fans.
For Eaton Corporation it was an opportunity for the employees to see a 900-plus horsepower sprint car up close and in person and also show the team how their products are manufactured.
“Traveling all over the country for most of the year it’s great that the team took some time to visit the facility in Van Wert,” said Business Development Manager Mike Rasnick. “With such a large number of employees doing various tasks it was great to show the team what all takes place in the plant and the employees really enjoyed checking out the race car.”
