It will be the first appearance of the season at the track by the PASS RaceSaver 305 sprints that will also kickoff their 2013 series at the track, sponsored by River Valley Builders of Middleburg.

And indeed, it will be the first show of the season anywhere for the PASS 305s.

Thus, a banner field of anxious 305 racers is expected to compete along with the super sprints and super lates.

Port Royal Speedway continues to be the only track in the East offering the chance to see the areas two premier divisions under the same lights on the same night in the form of the super sprints and super lates.

At just $15 for an adult admission ticket, the racing action at Port Royal Speedway would seem to be the best deal going.

As stated, adult admission for this week’s show is $15 with students ages 12 – 18 admitted for $5.

General admission gates will open at 4 pm with racing slated for 6 pm.

The program will be the second of the season at the Juniata County oval after a successful season opener was spun off on March 30.

It was NASCAR star and former World of Outlaws champion Dave Blaney of Cortland, Ohio, who took the 2013 season opener for sprints with a late race, two car pass for the $3,300 victory.

In the late model feature, all time win leader Scott Haus notched his 96th career oval victory while Keith Garman picked up the first pro stock main event of the season.

Coming up at the speedway on April 13 will be Race To Cure Cancer Night.

Mifflin/Juniata County Relay For Life teams will be on hand raising funds for their upcoming relay.

In addition, Port Royal Speedway and the Juniata County Agricultural Society will donate .50-cents from every adult and student general admission ticket sold to the State College Chapter of The American Cancer Society.

Racing action will include 410 sprints, late models and pro stocks.
