Buzz is in the air over Saturday’s “Dave Bradway Jr. Memorial” at Silver Dollar Speedway & “KWS Tonight” will be on the air this Thursday evening getting everyone ready for the special event. We will also showcase a great highlight package from last Saturday’s event at the Placerville Speedway, along with putting a wrap on what was a great night of racing at the El Dorado County Fairgrounds bullring.

Kyle Hirst won his fifth career Golden State/ King of the West 410 main event in Placerville and leads the points heading into this Saturday’s “Dave Bradway Jr. Memorial” in Chico. During the show we also have a sound bite with Hirst on the “Kaeding Performance Winners Circle” with some words about what it would mean to win the Bradway.

If you didn’t make Placerville last weekend be sure and tune into the show this Thursday for all the exciting action that took place last week. It was a spectacular finish to the 30-lapper with Hirst and Fremont’s Shane Golobic fighting it out for the win. Easton’s Tommy Tarlton put on a stunning charge from the rear to third in his first time competing at the track driving a 410 in many years.

We also caught up with our own “Mr. 5-time” himself, Jonathan Allard last weekend in the pits at Placerville & got some words with him about the 23rd annual “Dave Bradway Jr. Memorial.” Allard last year became the first ever 5-time Bradway Memorial champion and actually won his very first Golden State/ King of the West feature at the event in 2001.

George Hague will also share various quotes about Dave Bradway Jr. from a few members of the racing community including David Vodden, Grove Hill and Brent Kaeding. Troy Hennig will also call in to discuss his excitement for the weekend ahead at Silver Dollar Speedway. Dave Bradway Jr. was a hero of Hennig’s growing up so it has always been a special event for him personally.

We will break down some of the special awards on the line and give thanks to everyone for their generosity shown towards this year’s Bradway Memorial. Saturday will be your one-time only this season to catch the King of the West 410 Sprint Cars at Silver Dollar Speedway, so don’t miss it! We’re excited and we hope you all are too!

We’ll also introduce everyone to Tex Raceworthy during the show! If you don’t know him yet, you will after watching “KWS Tonight!”

The pit gate this Saturday May 4 will open at 3pm with the front grandstand gate for fans opening at 5pm, qualifying around 6:30pm and racing is scheduled to begin around 7pm. Adult tickets will cost just $20 on Saturday, juniors will be $15 and children are $6. There will also be 150 complimentary hot dogs & Pepsi’s available to children on Saturday night, so bring the kids and come enjoy what will be a great night of entertainment.
