Jackson, MN — (May 28, 2013) — Jackson Speedway is a big, fast half mile.
For the first time since 2010 and only the eighth time in World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series history, the quick facility will host the premier sprint car series on Friday, June 14, for the Eyecon Trail Cameras Presents The Big Game Shootout.
“I like Jackson,” World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series championship points leader Daryn Pittman said. “You always like the ones you win at more than others.”
Pittman’s lone win came in 2005 and made him one of five drivers to claim a victory at Jackson Speedway. Twenty-time series champion Steve Kinser is the only driver to earn more than one victory. He’s racked up three, including the most recent event in 2010.
Donny Schatz, who is second in the championship standings, earned a win in 2006 and Sammy Swindell did in 1988. Bobby Davis Jr. picked up the inaugural race victory in 1987.
