Walnut Creek, CA — (July 23, 2013) –More encouraging news was released on the condition of Peter Murphy on Tuesday night. Via his Facebook race team page it was reported that Murphy was moved out of the intensive care unit last night, but that lots of rest is still essential for his recovery. Murphy was air lifted to John Muir Medical Center after a crash during Saturday’s King of the West sprint car series event at Antioch Speedway.
