SELINSGROVE, Pa. – The 410 sprint cars will return to Selinsgrove Speedway one more time this season at 4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 6, for a special Twin 20’s racing program. Joining the 410 sprint cars will be the four cylinder pure stocks. Track gates will open at 2 p.m.
Luck of the draw will determine the sprint car heat race lineups and the winner of the first 20-lap feature will draw a pill to determine how many drivers are inverted for the start of the second 20-lap main event. Each 20-lap feature will pay $2,500 to win and $250 to start.
PLEASE NOTE: IF Williams Grove Speedway needs to use Sunday, Oct. 6, for a rain date for the World of Outlaws-sanctioned National Open this race will NOT be held at Selinsgrove.
The 410 sprint car races at Selinsgrove Speedway this season have been won by Greg Hodnett of York (March 10 opener), Brent Marks of Myerstown (May 26 Ray Tilley Classic), and Pat Cannon of Etters (Sept. 14 Jim Nace Memorial National Open).
The track’s final race of the season will feature the super late models in the $5,000-to-win Fall Classic at 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, plus the street stock/roadrunner challenge. Track gates will open at 4 p.m.
The DH&L Fire Co. will hold its annual race car flea market on the speedway grounds on Saturday, Oct. 26, beginning at 7 a.m.
