“It was a pleasure to work with everyone at Rudeen Racing for the weekend,” Croft said. “We all worked really well together, and everything felt great, we just unfortunately had some brake issues in the feature that really made it tough to maneuver.”

Starting his weekend off in time trials on Friday, Croft timed the Kaeding Performance/Fire Down Graphics/Vube backed entry in eighth fastest amongst the 81 cars in attendance for the event.

Starting in the third row of his heat race, Croft was on the hammer, as he worked his way to a second place finish, transferring him to the feature event, where he would start in the ninth spot, as he was fourth in points.

When the race went green, the Sacramento, CA driver got shuffled back a few positions, as he ran back in the 17th spot as the caution flew on the 16th lap.

With the last half of the race having a few cautions, Croft took advantage as he picked up spots slowly, and scored an 11th place finish, putting him sixth in Trophy Cup standings.

Lining up eighth in his heat race, Croft clawed his way to a fourth place finish, earning himself more points for the feature event, as he entered the finale sixth in points, putting him 19th on the grid.

When the feature went green, Croft worked his way forward a few spots, but began battling brake issues on the slick track, making his job behind the wheel event that much more difficult from the back.

Searching around the speedway to try and compensate for his break issues, Croft had his hands full and ultimately finished in the 19th spot.

“Our finish really isn’t a reflection of our weekend,” Croft said. “It was great all weekend long, and a blast to drive. Hopefully in the future we can race some more together, but I have to thank everyone involved for making this possible.”
