The 2013 HPD USAC Western Ignite Pavement series concludes this coming Saturday night at the Las Vegas (Nev.) Motor Speedway Bullring and drivers Bryant Dawson and Jarid Blondel are set to put a cap on respective 2013 championships.
Blondel sits atop the Western overall standings while Dawson is the leader in the Western Pavement points entering the season finale.
Chris Lamb of Colfax, N.C. captured last Saturday night’s 30-lapper at Havasu 95 Speedway in Lake Havasu City, Ariz. He took the lead from Tyler Ankrum on lap 12 and led the rest of the way to beat Ankrum, Blondel, Dawson and Michael Fanelli. Ankrum led the first 11 laps and Lamb was the fastest qualifier.
