McClelland Wins at Trail-Way

From Trail-Way Speedway

Hanover, PA — (May 23, 2014) — Brad McClelland added another notch to his belt in the “358” sprint car feature at Trail-Way Speedway Friday night.

“The track was a little weird tonight, and I’m glad I started up front,” said McClelland upon exiting the Baird Heating & Cooling/Littlestown Auto Care/Rucker Computer Solutions #6R in victory lane, “We put a used tire on tonight because we were starting second.  That was a mistake.”
That was his only mistake, as McClelland won his heat and led every lap of the feature from his outside front row starting spot.
McClelland was never seriously challenged despite six caution flags over the first nine laps.
From there, the race went non-stop, with McClelland scoring his third win in five races so far this year.
Matt Campbell caught polesitter Seth Kearchner for second lap 15, and was closing at the end.
Robbie Kendall, Kearchner, and Cody Fletcher completed the top five.
The other qualifier for the 10 “358” sprinters was won by Kendall.
