TULSA, Okla. (September 2, 2014) – The Speedway Motors ASCS Midwest Region heads into one of the most highly anticipated weekends in Nebraska Sprint Car racing with a stop at the Junction Motor Speedway on Saturday, September 6 to get drivers and fans ready for the $5,000 to win Nebraska Lottery / Hoosier Tire Nebraska Cup on Sunday, September 7 at the Eagle Raceway in Eagle, Neb.

 

Offering a $1,500 payday on Saturday, the ASCS Midwest Region will be joined by drivers of the NCRA Sprint Cars at the Junction Motor Speedway. In the series 2013 visit, Jack Dover edged out Don Droud, Jr. with a high line pass coming to the checkered flag.

 

The Midwest Region’s visit to the Junction Motor Speedway on May 23, 2014 saw Jason Martin taking the win.

 

Looking back at the 2013 Nebraska Cup, Danny Lasoski drove the Mark Burch backed No. 1m to victory. Utilizing a restart on Lap 28, Lasoski worked past Brian Brown entering turn one for the $5,000 score. Both Lasoski and Brown enter the weekend fresh of victories at the Randolph County Raceway in Moberly, Mo. with the Speedway Motors Warrior Region.

 

Events on Saturday, September 6 will see gates opening at 4:00 P.M. (CT) at the Junction Motor Speedway with Hot Laps getting underway at 6:30 P.M.
