Fremont, OH — (May 5th, 2015) — After a total of four rounds of Kistler Racing Products Fremont/Attica Sprint Title ‘410’ Championship Series presented by KS Sales & Service competition, it is defending series champion Byron Reed still on top of the 2015 championship chase; holding a 23 point cushion over former series champion Craig Mintz. Reed, the most recent winner during F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship Series action, earned his 2014 title without visiting F.A.S.T. victory lane. The Monclova, Ohio native is already one win ahead of schedule with just four rounds in the books thus far in 2015, making the Ohio veteran an easy pick to defend his championship.

The F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship Series hosted two rounds of competition during the most recent weekend. Round #3 of the 2015 championship was hosted at the Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio on Friday, May 1st. Dean Jacobs, driver of the familiar Seeling no. 97, earned the F.A.S.T. victory on Friday night; holding off a charging Craig Mintz and D.J. Foos over the course of 30-laps to secure himself a spot in victory lane. For Jacobs, it was his second F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship Series victory of 2015, and his second F.A.S.T. victory at Attica Raceway Park. Craig Mintz, D.J. Foos, Byron Reed and ‘410’ rookie Nate Dussel completed the top-five.

Round #4 of the 2015 F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship took shape on Saturday evening, May 2nd back at Fremont Speedway in Fremont, Ohio. It was Byron Reed who picked up the win on Saturday night; working through traffic during 30 non-stop feature laps to lock down his first win of the year under the Kistler Racing Products F.A.S.T. banner. For a second night in a row, Craig Mintz would roll home second, with early race leader Cap Henry rounding out the podium. Chris Andrews and D.J. Foos completed the evening’s top-five finish at ‘The Track That Action Built.’ Foos, Mintz and Reed each earned back-to-back top-five finishes over the course of the weekend.

The Kistler Racing Products Fremont/Attica Sprint Title ‘410’ Championship Series presented by KS Sales & Service will return to competition on Friday and Saturday, May 15th & 16th. Northwest Ohio’s finest sprint car drivers will return to the Attica Raceway Park and Fremont Speedway during the May 15th/16th weekend; completing round #5 and round #6 of the 2015 F.A.S.T. campaign. Byron Reed holds down the top spot in the current championship with 576 points; 23 point cushion over former champ Craig Mintz who has 553. Two-time series winner in 2015 Dean Jacobs is currently third in the standings with 545 points, followed by Cap Henry with 528 and Chris Andrews with 524.

The JLH General Contractors Fremont/Attica Sprint Title ‘305’ Championship Series presented by Engine Pro will also return to competition on May 15th & 16th for rounds #3/#4 of their respective 2015 campaign. Bobby Clark, winner during round #2 of the 2015 F.A.S.T. ‘305’ championship at Fremont Speedway, is the current point leader heading into Attica Raceway Park on May 15th with 295 points; holding a 16 point advantage over round #1 winner Jordan Ryan who has 279. Steve Rando, Alvin Roepke and Jamie Miller hold down positions three through five in the current ‘305’ championship.

There are currently 18 dates on the F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship Series schedule in 2015; stretching from mid-April until early August. The F.A.S.T. ‘305’ sprinters will headline 11 events in 2015, with an inaugural visit to the Waynesfield Raceway Park scheduled for Saturday, July 4th. The 2015 F.A.S.T. ‘410’ title will once again be worth $10,000 to the series champion. $2,000 will be awarded to the 2015 F.A.S.T. ‘305’ series champion.
