Fremont, OH — (May 13, 2015) — The 2015 Fremont/Attica Sprint Title Championship Series season will resume with F.A.S.T. ‘410’ and ‘305’ competition this Friday and Saturday, May 15th & 16th at Attica Raceway Park and Fremont Speedway. Each of the F.A.S.T. banners will be represented on both nights during the upcoming weekend; completing rounds five and six of the F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship Series, and rounds three and four of the F.A.S.T. ‘305’ Championship Series.
“The season is moving along pretty quickly” said F.A.S.T. series promoter Rich Farmer, “We have some great teams signed up to run all of our F.A.S.T. races in both divisions…the championship came down to the final night of action last year, and I’m sure it will be the same this year…I want to take the time to thank all of the series sponsors for 2015…their loyal support allows this series to continue to grow each and every year…we are already excited to continue the F.A.S.T. tradition in 2016.”
Byron Reed, the most recent winner during Kistler Racing Products Fremont/Attica Sprint Title ‘410’ Championship Series presented by KS Sales & Service competition, will lead the charge into Friday’s event at Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio. Reed, winner at Fremont Speedway in Fremont, Ohio on Saturday, May 2nd, holds the top spot in the current championship chase with 576 points; leading former series champion, Craig Mintz, by 23 markers. Craig Mintz holds down second in the chase with 553 points; followed by two-time F.A.S.T. feature winner in 2015, Dean Jacobs, who has 545 points. Cap Henry and Chris Andrews round out the top-five, respectively. Chris Andrews joins the list with Dean Jacobs and Byron Reed as F.A.S.T. main event winners in 2015. Jacobs is the only two-time winner thus far this season.
Bobby Clark is in sole command of the JLH General Contractors Fremont/Attica Sprint Title ‘305’ Championship Series presented by Engine Pro standings with 295 points. The 2015 F.A.S.T. opening night winner at Attica Raceway Park has a 16 point lead over fellow series winner in 2015, Jordan Ryan. Ryan will enter Friday night’s event at Attica Raceway Park with 279 points, followed by Steve Rando two points back with 277 points; Alvin Roepke and Jamie Miller round out the top-five in the current standings.
There are currently 18 dates on the F.A.S.T. ‘410’ Championship Series schedule in 2015; stretching from mid-April until early August. The F.A.S.T. ‘305’ sprinters will headline 11 events in 2015, with an inaugural visit to the Waynesfield Raceway Park scheduled for Saturday, July 4th. The 2015 F.A.S.T. ‘410’ title will once again be worth $10,000 to the series champion. $2,000 will be awarded to the 2015 F.A.S.T. ‘305’ series champion.
