Findlay, OH, June 27, 2015 – While new promoters Randy and Lisa Hammer are still anxious to bring back racing to the historic Millstream Speedway, they will be waiting yet another week, as Mother Nature has prevailed over a third straight attempt. According to Lisa, “Water is laying everywhere – it’s even across the road. It looks like we have a moat around the race track.” With saturated grounds and at least 2 additional inches of rain forecast in the next 18 hours, Sunday night’s program of non-wing and winged sprints, along with modified, has been cancelled.
Next up on the schedule for Millstream Speedway is a sprint car double-header, featuring the 410 cubic inch sprint cars of the All Star Circuit of Champions, supported by the 305 sprints. Race fans are invited to make a full day of it, with open pit area (free with a general admission ticket) from 1-4pm, a live band, trivia games, and an opportunity to watch the racing program from the infield. Gates will open at 1pm, with on-track action beginning at 6pm.
