Susquehanna, PA — (February 8, 2016) — Susquehanna Speedway is pleased to announce that Credit Connection Auto Sales, Inc. will partner with the speedway to sponsor the Super Sportsman division for the 2016 racing season.
The Credit Connection Auto Sales Super Sportsman will be featured on 19 different dates on the aggressive Susquehanna Speedway schedule. Some of the bigger races for the Sportsman will include the Bud Bricker Nationals on May 28, the Firecracker 40 on July 2, the York County Nationals on July 23 and the Harvest Classic on October 8.
Credit Connection Auto Sales will also be the title sponsor for the 42nd annual Sportsman 100 to be held on Saturday, September 10. The “100” is the longest and most lucrative race on the schedule for the division.
“I am super excited about this season,” said Credit Connection Auto Sales owner Dain Hursh. “I think it’s going bring back racing like we had at Silver Spring. I think it will be better for everybody involved and I am happy to be a part of it.”
Hursh, who also raced a Super Sportsman for about ten seasons continued “I think it’s going to be a real good season. It’s a real racy track with three lanes of racing and I am just as excited as everyone else is to see the changes at Susquehanna.”
Credit Connection Auto Sales has two locations in York(east and west), one in Carlisle and one in Harrisburg. One of the attractions to Credit Connection Auto Sales is there is never a credit check. “We’ve always had good support for Credit Connection from racing fans,” Hursh added. “Being based right here in Central PA, all of our lots of close by to local tracks and we seem to get a good amount of business from race fans, so we like to be able to give back to the sport that I love so much.”
Credit Connection Auto Sales is also the main sponsor on the Scott Geesey #41 Sportsman that will be a regular at Susquehanna Speedway in 2016.
“My friendship with Dain started back at Silver Spring Speedway and I am beyond thrilled to have him and his family a part of Susquehanna Speedway in 2016,” Susquehanna Speedway General Manager Kolten Gouse stated. “His passion for the sport is unbelievable and I can’t thank him enough for believing in me and more importantly supporting this effort.”
The 2016 Super Sportsman season kicks off on Saturday, March 26.
