WAYNESFIELD, Ohio (5/12/16) – The first of four races for the USAC Midwest Thunder Midgets takes place this Saturday night at Waynesfield Raceway Park in Waynesfield, Ohio. The traveling series returns again in 2016 to go head-to-head with the Performance Powder Coating AMSA Mini Sprints who themselves will be going wingless for the event. The Satellite Connections Non Wing Sprint Cars, Quest Federal Credit Union UMP Modifieds, Block Insurance Tough Trucks, and Indian Lake Outfitter Compacts will also join Saturday’s program. Pit side gates open at 4:00PM; grandstands at 5:00PM. Cars begin to fire for hot laps at 6PM with the first green flag of the night following at 7:00PM. Adult general admission is $12; kids 11-15 years of age admitted for $6. Anyone under the age of ten is admitted for free. Pit passes are available for $25.
