(July 31, 2016) — Jeff Bloom remains hospitalized following at crash Friday during the Auto Value / Bumper to Bumper Super Sprints event at Spartan Speedway. In addition to broken sternum we reported on Saturday Bloom also has a injury to the L4 vertebrae. As of Sunday Bloom remained hospitalized at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, Michigan.
The accident occurred when Bloom’s throttle stuck through turns one and two and slammed into Derek Snyder’s car before making a head on impact with the turn two wall.
