Dan Kapuscinski Motorsports Promotions in conjunction with Oswego Speedway and the International Supermodified Association announced today the formation of the Shea Concrete Triple Crown Championship Series of Supermodified Racing presented by ASI Racewear.

Ever since the Oswego Speedway 2-seat Supermodified made its debut, Canale Insurance & Accounting has been the title sponsor. With the 2-seat Supermodified taking a hiatus for the 2017 racing season, Canale Insurance & Accounting wanted to continue to have high profile exposure at the track.

A winner of 26 Novelis Supermodified main events at Oswego Speedway, including the 1976 International Classic and the 1985 track championship, Steve Gioia Jr. will step in as the Chief Technical Advisor at the Steel Palace in 2017.

Former Bud Light SBS Classic champion Cameron Rowe is reloading for the upcoming season at Oswego Speedway, looking to make a return to Turning Stone Resort Casino Victory Lane for the first time since 2012, driving an all new Gen 5 FFB Pathfinder Bank Small Block Super chassis.

A championship fight for the ages at Oswego Speedway in 2016 will look to continue in 2017 as last year’s championship hopefuls Dave Gruel, Otto Sitterly, Mike Muldoon, and defending Budweiser International Classic champion Jeff Abold all have their sights set on surpassing the Syrell Racing No. 68 machine, driven by defending Speedway champion ‘The Hustler’ Michael Barnes.

Following an exciting 2016 campaign at Oswego Speedway, several Speedway partners have already set their sights on 2017 as the first wave of partner renewals has made its way to the Speedway offices on Nolan Swift Memorial Drive.

Oswego Speedway’s Hall of Fame Legend Series t-shirts will be packaged in a special three piece set for a limited time only starting Monday, November 28 featuring Speedway legends Nolan Swift, Jim Shampine, and Gioia Racing.
