Kaley Gharst – Winner’s Circle at Cedar County!

It wasn’t quite “From the outhouse to the Penthouse”, but it wasn’t far off. On Friday, July 8, Kaley Gharst found himself upside down in his heat race and scrambling from the back of the B, only to miss the feature at the Lee County Speedway in Donnellson, Iowa. Last Thursday night, he redeemed himself and the rest of the Plath Motorsports #14P by leading from green to checker at the Cedar County Raceway in Tipton, Iowa. It marked his 19th career win with the Sprint Invaders.

WHEATLEY GAINING CONFIDENCE RUNNING WITH THE OUTLAWS

Confidence is at an all-time high for Austen Wheatley.

And it should be after the 18-year-old from Lake Stevens, Wash., nearly advanced to the prestigious Kings Royal feature last Saturday at Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio, where the winner claimed $50,000 in the World of Outlaws’ event.
