Brownsburg, Indiana (July 18, 2011) — Ross Rankine continues to run strong in the USAC Midwest Ford Focus Midget Series as he claimed a third-place finish at Kil-Kare- Raceway in Xenia, Ohio, on Friday night, July 15.
Ross established the pace for the night by setting fast time. Due to the inverted field, he started further back and claimed third when the checkered flag waved. Ross continues to dominate the USAC Midwest Ford Focus Midget Series points standings as he has a 187-point lead over second-place James Robertson.
Ross Rankine’s next race will be at the Bryant Heating & Cooling Indianapolis Speedrome on Wednesday, July 20.
