Stenhouse enters Battle at the center
NASCAR Sprint Cup driver Rickey Stenhouse Jr. will return to his short-track, open-wheel roots Saturday to race in the fifth annual Great Clips Battle at the Center presented by K & N Filers on the one-sixth Mini-Magic Mile at the Southern Illinois Center on the grounds of the DuQuoin State Fair.

Gehrke continues comeback by entering POWRi Midgets Battle at the Center at Du Quoin
Chett Gehrke of Broken Arrow, Okla., will continue his comeback from an injury that ended his strong regular season in August in the third annual Battle at the Center on Dec. 15, a non-points event sanctioned by the POWRi Lucas Oil National Midget Series, at the Southern Illinois Center’s Mini Magic Mile.
