Stockon wins MSCS feature at Haubstadt

Chase Stockon led the last 19 laps to win the non-wing portion of the Southern Indiana Sprint Car Stampede held at Tri-State Speedway Saturday night. The Elizabethtown, IN, driver started inside of row two and used a restart after a caution period on lap 6 to outgun leader Kevin Thomas Jr. and capture the lead. From that point it was show time for Stockon. His car was bad fast and he dealt with lapped traffic with expertise. Summer Showdown at Tri-State Speedway next for MSCS

The Hoosier Tire Midwest Sprint Car Series will be racing twice in the month of June. Both races will be at the Tri-State Speedway in Haubstadt, Indiana. The first event is the Tri-State Summer Showdown. The MSCS Sprints will participate along with the Summit Modifieds. The sprint car feature will pay 2,000 to win and the modified feature will pay $1,500 to win. The second race is not until June 27th. […]
