New Rules and Changes for the 2010 RMMRA Season

Denver, CO. (February 7, 2010) – The Rocky Mountain Midget Racing Association (RMMRA) held a general membership at USA Engine Performance on Saturday with a great turnout.

Greg Schaefer, the new RMMRA President, talked about the 2010 schedule, the new web site, sponsorship, and proposed rules changes and a new mandatory rule for the season. The proposed rules were Weight Rule (1050 with driver), Points Schedule and a Pill Draw Fee. After discussion on the proposed rules changes, the participating members voted yes on all three proposed rule.

A new mandatory rule will be in effect for the 2010 season. All drivers will have a Raceceiver by May 8 at I-76 Speedway in Ft. Morgan, CO and will be used at all race events. If you have any questions, please contact Greg Schaefer at 720-273-1574 or Keith Rauch at 720-252-4103.

1. Weight: 1050lbs. (Car with Driver)

2. Pill Draw Fee – $10.00

3. Point Schedule

Mandatory Rule

1. All Drivers will have a Raceceiver Radio by May 8, 2010 and will be used at all race events.
