Port Royal, PA – Tickets for the annual Port Royal Speedway awards banquet on January 8 remain on sale at a price of $30.00 each. The deadline for purchasing a seat at the table is December 31.
The banquet will be held at the Port Royal Community Building, located along 4th St., just off of the speedway’s backstretch.
Doors for the ceremony will open at 6 p.m.
Orders may be placed by phone between the hours of 8 a.m. and 12 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays by contacting the speedway office at 717.527.2303.
Orders may also be submitted by mail by sending a check or money order made payable to Port Royal Speedway, to: Port Royal Speedway, Box 295, Port Royal, PA, 17082.
Honored will be the 2010 track champions: Chad Layton, 410 sprints; Scott Haus, late models; John Heane, pro stocks; Jason Davis, enduro; and Jen Powell, powder puffs. Also receiving awards will be the top-10 in the sprint, late model and pro stock divisions along with the top-5 in enduros and powder puffs.
Fans and racers are also reminded that season reserve seats and season admission passes are also currently on sale.
A season reserve seat for all race events including fairweek races in 2011 costs $50.00. It is important to note that this pass reserves seats only and is not good for general admission to any events during the upcoming season.
Family Seating will be available for the first time at Port Royal in 2011. Section C of the main grandstand has been designated as such and therefore NO SMOKING OR USE OF ALCOHOL WILL BE PERMITTED IN SECTION C.
Current Section C season seat ticket holders who wish to move to another section for 2011 must contact the speedway office to make the necessary arrangements. Those who wish to remain in Section C must submit orders and payment as usual.
Current season seat ticket holders must submit their payment and request for renewal before February 1, 2011 or give up their seats.
In addition, season pit passes are being offered at a price of $400 each while reserved parking spots behind the grandstand are being offered for $50.00. These parking passes will not be good for fairweek events. General admission season passes are available at a cost of $250.00, which does include admission to all fairweek races for 2011.
