It’s Gharst in ASCS Midwest/Warrior Showdown

– Cameron, Missouri (July 13, 2012) In the battle between the drivers of the Speedway Motors ASCS Midwest and Warrior Regions it was Kaley Gharst to who topped the 21 car field at U.S. 36 Raceway this past Friday the thirteenth.

Running second for much of the early goings, Gharts chased Jason Danley form the drop of the green.

Stopping for a red on lap three involving Cody Baker, the No. 6 of Danley would hold the top spot until slipping out the groove on lap thirteen; allowing Gharst to take over the race lead.

Working on lap fourteen, the field would be halted for a second time as Jonathan Cornell flipped following contact the right rear on Jordan Boston’s Select Auto No. 4.

Restarting on the last completed lap, Gharst would go uncontested to the checkered flag with Jason Danley second. Running fourth at the white flag, Jack Dover would sneak by for third over Stu Snyder with Kyle Bellm rounding out the top five. Don Droud Jr., Randy Hibbs, Jay Russell, Jordan Boston, and Zach Davis completed the top ten.
