To say Shane Stewart dominated the Arnold Motors 360 Nationals would be an understatement, as he wheeled his Kick-It/Jeff Gordon Children’s Foundation/A.R.T. No 57 to his third consecutive 360 Nationals crown, and fourth in the last six years.

Stewart’s Silva Motorsports machine was a rocket as soon as the potent team unloaded for their qualifying night on Friday night.

Setting quick time, Stewart then proceeded to run third in his heat race, putting the Lucas Oil Products/Pro Bilt Construction/Finley Farms in the fourth row of the feature event.

During the feature event, Stewart struggled a bit as he worked around the eighth spot on the very technical track.

At the stripe, Stewart closed the night out in the seventh spot, but his point total set him up for the front row of the Saturday night feature event.

Sharing the front row with Roger Crockett, Stewart got the advantage as he led the field to green, and simply put on a clinic.

With his right-rear tire planted on the Knoxville Raceway cushion, Stewart continued to stretch his lead over Kevin Swindell lap after lap.

Running through lapped traffic nearly to perfection, Stewart cruised on to capture a very impressive third straight 360 Nationals crown lapping the field as he won by over four seconds.

“I can’t say enough about this team, and this car,” said Stewart. “To win with Kick-It and the Jeff Gordon Children’s Foundation on this car is pretty special, and hopefully we can perform well for the 410 Nationals.”

The Silva Motorsports team thanks Kick-It For Children’s Cancer, The Jeff Gordon Children’s Foundation, Lucas Oil Products, A.R.T. Speed Equipment, Pro Bilt Construction, Palmero Properties, Finley Farms, Car and Fleet, FK Rod Ends, OMP Racing, Wesmar Racing Engines, , Shift Creative, Amerikote, XYZ, Hoosier Tire, Pro, Banshee Graphics, Dan Olson Products, K&N Filters, RE Technologies, Weld, Schoenfeld Headers, Butlerbuilt Seats, Vortex Wings, CP Pistons, Cometic Gaskets, Huggins Cams BR Ignitioneering, Blackwell Consolidation,  and Petersen Media for their partnership in 2012.
