CAROLINA RACESAVER SPRINT CAR SERIES

Mike Leraas was all smiles after Saturday’s 30-lap Carolina RaceSaver Sprint Car Series main event at East Lincoln Speedway in Stanley, N. C. Leraas wheeled his No. 77 Carlton Scale and Westrom, Inc. backed J&J to the win in his first race of the season.

“We had a lot to celebrate on Easter Sunday this year,” admitted Leraas. “There are so many people to thank and it starts with my wife, Angie. There were a lot of people helping us both at the track and getting this car together. I’m so happy to get this win.”

BATON ROUGE RACEWAY

Brandon Thornhill had a memorable night last Saturday at Baton Rouge Raceway in Louisiana. Thornhill in only his fourth-ever Sprint car start led every lap of his heat behind the wheel of his No. 68T J&J.
