Pittsburgh, PA — (June 4, 2013) — After earning two (2) main event wins in the same night this past Saturday evening, June 1st, at the Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsylvania, B&R Racing pilot, Danny Holtgraver, will return to ‘business as usual’ this Friday and Saturday, June 7th & 8th, and compete in two rounds of Fremont/Attica Sprint Title (F.A.S.T.) series competition in northwestern Ohio. The pilot of the B&R Racing, Berlin Natural Bakery, Canton Erectors, Alternative Power Sources, DKW Transport, no. 45 ‘410’ sprint car will jump-start his upcoming weekend with a $3,000-to-win F.A.S.T. program at the Attica Raceway Park in Attica, Ohio on Friday, June 7th; and will round out his two-day F.A.S.T. weekend with an appearance at the Fremont Speedway in Fremont, Ohio on Saturday, June 8th. Danny Holtgraver owns one (1) F.A.S.T. series victory already in 2013; that coming at the Attica Raceway Park just a few weeks back. The B&R Racing operation will continue to compete at both northwestern Ohio ovals during weekends where no UNOH All Star commitments are scheduled.
Danny Holtgraver and B&R Racing, lead by multi-time UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions championship crew chief, Brian Kemenah, will return to UNOH All Star competition next Tuesday evening, May 11th, when the series’ schedule picks back up at the Canandaigua Motorsports Park in Canandaigua, New York. The Tuesday night ‘National/East Region’ UNOH All Star program will be highlighted with a $5,000-to-win main event for the ‘410’ sprint cars. Holtgraver will return to UNOH All Star competition fourth (4th) in the current ‘National’ point standings, second (2nd) in the current ‘Ohio Region’ standings, and ninth (9th) in the current ‘East Region’ standings. Danny Holtgraver has one (1) UNOH All Star victory thus far in 2013; with that dominating performance coming at the I-77 Raceway Park in Ripley, West Virginia.
‘East Region’ action will wrap up for the UNOH All Star Circuit of Champions in the month of June next Friday and Saturday, June 14th & 15th, when ‘America’s Series’ makes appearances at the Williams Grove Speedway in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania, and the Lincoln Speedway in Abbottstown, Pennsylvania. Holtgraver, who competes full-time with the UNOH All Stars in 2013, hopes to make a ‘statement’ next weekend in Central Pennsylvania, and steal a victory away from the Pennsylvania Posse. A possible Sunday night, June 16th appearance at the Susquehanna Speedway Park in Newberrytown, Pennsylvania is also in the works for Danny Holtgraver and B&R Racing. More information on that event will be released in the coming days.
Recent results for Danny Holtgraver and B&R Racing include a victory during Patriot Sprint Tour competition last Saturday evening, June 1st, at the Mercer Raceway Park in Mercer, Pennsylvania. The $2,000 ‘360’ sprint car win was Holtgraver’s first-career Patriot Sprint Tour victory; coming from the last position to score the dominating win. The former ‘King of the 360s’ champion in Tampa, Florida was forced to tag the field of the Patriot Sprint Tour main event at Mercer Raceway Park last Saturday night due to his race hauler breaking down on the way to the racing facility; thus, forcing the ‘45’ team to miss preliminary action. Holtgraver would put on a clinic and pass every car on his way to a $2,000 victory.
Danny Holtgraver would actually double-up in the win column on Saturday evening at the Mercer Raceway Park. The Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native would not only score the ‘360’ Patriot Sprint Tour win on June 1st at ‘The Park,’ but the former Lernerville Speedway sprint car track champion would also pilot his own familiar Kargo Quality Sales and Storage, Alternative Power Sources, Ambulance Information Management, DKW Transport, Bagley Auto Service, Kistler Engines ‘D4’ sprint car to a ‘410’ sprint car win on Saturday evening at ‘MRP.’ The ‘410’ victory was Holtgraver’s second of the 2013 season at Mercer Raceway Park during non-sanctioned, ‘Saturday Night Live!’ weekly competition.
