Mercer, PA — (June 27, 2015) — In what has become a frustrating pattern, rain has again washed out the racing program at Mercer Raceway Park.

Heavy rains brought about the tenth cancellation of racing at Mercer Raceway Park. A make-up date has yet to be selected for the Patriots Night program, which was to include Fireworks, courtesy of Pizza Joe’s. “Now, we will try to get things dried out and ready for the All Stars,” said track manager Frank Benic. The new look All Stars Circuit of Champions will be in for two separate programs on July 3 and 4.

Greg Wilson snagged the title in the 33rd Annual Ohio Sprint Speedweek. He earned a pair of victories along the way. Also picking up multiple wins were Dale Blaney and Sheldon Haudenschild. They will carry plenty of momentum into this event.

Chad Kemenah picked up the first round of All Stars action at the Park in May. Joining him will be local favorites on the All Stars tour, Tim Shaffer and Danny Holtgraver. All of the track’s 410 Sprint Car drivers who compete for the 4 Your Car Connection and World of Wheels title will also be on hand.

The Bonnell’s Rod Shop Outlaw Sprint Warriors, Approved Toilet Rentals 358 Modifieds, and Precise Racing Products Stock Cars will round out the racing card.

But, there will be plenty of more fun at the Park next weekend. The Cowboy Run and a fun walk will be just two of the added attractions.

And if that is not enough to get you excited for racing in July, the Patriot Sprint Tour has been added to the show on July 11, when the ARDC Midgets come to town.
