WAYNESFIELD, OH (8/25/16) – The 2016 Waynesfield Raceway Park season will come to a close this Saturday, August 27th with a night of racing and family fun. After severe storms washed away last
week’s program, driver meet and greets and backpack giveaways has been moved to this weekend. All school aged kids will be entered into a raffle to walk home with backpacks full of school supplies to jump start the school year. With the help of the local racing community, some lucky fans will ride home on a brand new bicycle. Additionally, driver meet and greets with will take place along the front stretch during intermission. On the racing side of the venue, all five weekly divisions return for the final points race of the year. The Satellite Connections Non Wing Sprints, Quest Federal Credit Union UMP Modifieds, Performance Powder Coating AMSA Non Mini Sprints, Block Insurance Tough Trucks, and Indian Lake Outfitter Compacts will have champions crowned with point values being doubled for Saturday’s race. The ladies of the racing community will also take the track for the final Powder Puff Tough Truck race of the year. The entire night of fun is presented by Indian Lake Outfitters.
