ROCHESTER, NY – Twin 15-lap Features, 1-on-1 Scrambles and an All-Star Shootout Dash would be enough to distinguish this episode apart from all others, but when you add in that the racing was phenomenal all night long, it truly makes this show a special hour of television.
The newest episode of Hot Wings TV is now ready to begin airing as it highlights a wild night of racing from the Ohsweken Speedway on the “Night Before the Nationals”.
This traditional event as the Friday Night portion of the Canadian Sprint Car Nationals has its own identity, featured by the “Twin 15’s”that run two A-Mains slated by six heat races, which are highlighted throughout the night.
The Dave MacLeod 1-on-1 Mr. Sprint Car Challenge is a scramble event that uses a “bracket format” to get down to one final matchup. Those races are also features, along with the Village Pizza Ohsweken Shootout for all stars from each of the sanctioning bodies involved.
Along with all of the action from Ohsweken, the popular “Races from Different Places” segment, highlighting seven races from the later part of the season. Included in that is one of the wildest finishes of 2009.
Rich Vleck is joined in the booth this show once again by Greg Birosh, with Clinton Geoffrey joining the team from trackside. Along with competing in the event, racer Kevin Loveys also contributes to the broadcast, handling the Flag2Flag.com Racing Classifieds Tech Tip.
The Ohsweken event will run though December, which means there is still one more Hot Wings TV event from Ohsweken left in the vault. This race will be the Canadian Sprint Car Nationals to round out this season on Time Warner Cable Sports Stations across Upstate New York.
Scheduled airtimes are complete for each of the markets. All airtimes and prior episodes will be updated on the www.HotWingsTV.com website, with complete on-demand coverage from the first six Hot Wings TV events. This is a great option for those without cable or out of the viewing area.
