McKENZIE, TN (May 11)- The racing season is beginning to pick up steam and successful results by J&J Auto Racing teams were turned at several dirt tracks. Terry Gray won a feature event in South Carolina, while a pair of J&J racers picked up wins in the Show-Me State. Randy Martin won his second feature at Lake Ozark Speedway and Mark Shirshekan captured his first career Winged Outlaw Warriors race at LA Raceway.
WINGED OUTLAW WARRIORS
Friday night was a memorable one for Mark Shirshekan as he scored his first Winged Outlaw Warrior Sprint car feature triumph at LA Raceway in LaMonte, Mo. Shirshekan raced the No. 3 Cooper Racing Enterprises Wesmar-powered J&J into the lead on lap five of the 20-lap main event. Veteran Randy Martin roared into second driving his No. 14 Diamond Pet Foods Roush-Yates Ford powered J&J and the two settled the outcome racing through traffic. Shirshekan went on to take the win.

Defending United Sprint Car Series champion, Terry Gray won the 25-lap USCS Outlaw Thunder Tour feature race during the 7th annual USCS Night of Thunder at Travelers Rest (S.C.) Speedway on Saturday night.
J&J Auto Racing cars comprised the front row as Gray started the race alongside 17 year-old female racer Morgan Turpen. Turpen wheeled the No. 80 Casey’s Lawn Care sponsored J&J while Gray was in his familiar No. 10 Rislone Engine Treatment sponsored, Wesmar powered J&J. Gray jumped into the lead at the start and was never headed. Turpen battled another J&J racer, Johnny Bridges (No. 07s Biobased.Us sponsored, Roush-Yates Ford powered J&J), for the runner-up spot during the early portion of the race. Bridges finally took the spot on lap 14 and tried to chase down Gray. When the checkers flew, the four spots were occupied by J&J drivers with Gray taking the win, Bridges second, Turpin third and Lance Moss in the No. 23 J&J finished fourth.
LAKE OZARK SPEEDWAY
Randy Martin scored his second feature win at Lake Ozark Speedway on Saturday night. Martin was victorious aboard his No. 14 Diamond Pet Foods Roush-Yates Ford powered J&J.

The South Australian Sprint car driver was the runaway winner of the award for the month of April following a late-season surge in David Challons owned No. 45 HA Young sponsored J&J.
