This Saturday night’s “Firecracker 30” at Perris Auto Speedway could generate some on-track fireworks in terms of the 2010 battle for the AMSOIL USAC/CRA Sprint Car championship.
Defending champion Mike Spencer of Temecula, Calif. will be aiming for his 11th USAC/CRA victory at the PAS and trying to protect his 40-point series lead over Danny Sheridan in the process.
Spencer is one of four different winners in five Perris races so far this year. David Cardey has won the last two, while Damion Gardner and Greg Bragg have also been victorious at the half-mile dirt oval.
The California Lightning Sprints are also part of Saturday night’s program which will feature a “Sky Concert.”
