Denver, CO. – The Rocky Mountain Midget Racing Association (RMMRA) will kick off their 72nd season this weekend at the “Duel in Dodge City” in Dodge City, Kansas at Dodge City Raceway Park.
The RMMRA is co-sanctioning with the Mopar USAC National Midgets Series at Dodge City.
Three-time RMMRA Driver Champion and 2010 runner up Keith Rauch will return this year driving the Petauro Racing IMM, AAI, and Peterson Fluid System Spike/Mopar.
Rauch, Three-time RMMRA Driver Champion Tony Rossi, Greg Schaefer, Julee Jamison, Todd Plemons, the Mallo Brothers (Justin and Cory) out of Wyoming, Scott Fennell, and veteran RMMRA driver Bob Harr among others, are all expected to be in action this season.
After a couple years off from a crash at US 36 Raceway in Missouri, Chris DeShon will return driving the JP Motorsports entry.
Rookies this year will be Clint Schubert and Dustin Weland will compete for the 2011 “Rookie of the Year” honors.
