Snowy conditions prevailed at Rocky Mountain Raceways last Saturday, forcing cancellation of the 2011 USAC/SLVRA Young Automotive Rocky Mountain Sprint Car opener.
The series returns to the Salt Lake City oval this Saturday to kick-start the season at the 3/8-mile paved oval.
Defending series champion Jimmy Wysong has 16 career USAC wins in Utah, three more than former two-time series champion Jim Waters.
