Beebe, AR 6/02/11 – 2009 National Sprint Car Hall of Fame 360 sprint car Driver of the Year, Shane Stewart from Pittsboro, Indiana raced from his K&N Filters Pole Position into the www.RockAuto.com USCS victory lane in the United Sprint Car Series presented by Goodyear Speedweek 2011 Round Four at Beebe Speedway on Thursday Night. Stewart’s career second USCS victory halted a USCS win streak by Tim Crawley from Benton, Arkansas at four victories over the past week. Crawley who started outside Stewart in row one, raced past Stewart on lap fourteen, only to have his pass voided when the caution came out. When the race continued, Stewart held the #88 of Crawley off for the final sixteen laps for the win.
Crawley finished in the runner-up spot. Jerrod Hull from Sikeston, MO collected the final podium position in third place. The 2006 USCS Rookie of the Year, Derek Hagar from Marion, Arkansas crossed the finish line in fourth place and 2010 USCS Mid South Thunder regional series Rookie of the Year, Jerod Roller from Olive Branch, Mississippi rounded out the top five.
The USCS Sprint Car Speedweek 2011 mini-series concludes with the Finale on Saturday night (6/4/11) at Moulton Speedway (www.moultonraceway.com) in Danville, Alabama.
