Saturday night in Placerville, CA, Jonathan Allard overcame a vicious heat flip, to charge from 12th to fourth in the second B-Main missing the transfer but just one position. During the second heat, Allard got together with Kyle Hirst, and the result was Allard sailing into a series of end over end tumbles off of the fourth turn. Though he was out of that event, Rod Fauver and crew went to work to get JA back out for the B. During the 12-lap B, JA simply put on a clinic. As most cars elected to use the high side of the speedway, Allard put his Rod Fauver Racing entry on the bottom and used several slide jobs to carve his way through the field. As the race drew to a close, JA put heavy pressure on CJ Humphries who was running in the third spot and narrowly missed out on making the pass to send him into the feature. “We got tore up pretty bad in our heat, and I have to thank Rod (Fauver) and all of the guys for getting us back out for the B,” said Allard. “The car was awesome in the B, I just ran out of laps. I have to thank Rod for giving me the chance to trace the last few weekends.” ON TAP: JA will return to the seat of his Williams Motorsports No.0 this weekend as he resumes action with the King of the West Series for two stops this weekend. Friday night he will travel to Ocean Speedway in Watsonville, CA before heading to Giant Chevrolet Kings Speedway in Hanford, CA on Saturday night.
