CONCORD, N.C. — September 5, 2011 — Craig Dollansky and Sam Hafertepe Jr. were the big winners as the World Outlaws Sprint Car Series kicked off their second west coast swing of 2011. Dollansky outlasted several yellow and red flag periods before making a move on series points leader Jason Meyers with seven laps to go for the win on the first night of the two day show.
On the second night, Sam Hafertepe Jr. dominated the 24 car field to pick up his first career World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series win. After leading all forty laps in the main event, Hafertepe Jr. hoisted the $20,000 check in Victory Lane and received a thunderous response from the crowd.
Now the Outlaws set their sights on Northern California for the 58th Gold Cup Race of Champions at Silver Dollar Speedway in Chico, Calif. on Friday, September 9 and Saturday, September 10. After the prestigious race, the Outlaws will make their debut at Antioch (Calif.) Speedway on Monday, September 12.

Friday, September 9 and Saturday, September 10, at Silver Dollar Speedway in Chico, Calif. Pit gates will open at 2 p.m., with the grandstand gates opening at 5 p.m. Qualifying is set for 6 p.m. and racing at 6:30 p.m.
Monday, September 12 at Antioch (Calif.) Speedway. Pit Gate opens at 1:00 P.M., Grandstands open at 5:00 P.M., Racing begins at 6:00 P.M.
