EASTERN SPRINT SWING STARTS TUESDAY AT GRANDVIEW

The always exciting visit to the East Coast is at hand for the stars and cars of USAC’s AMSOIL National Sprint Car Series. Four races in five nights comprise the 2012 calendar.

It all begins Tuesday night at Grandview Speedway in Bechtelsville, Pa. where Levi Jones will open defense of his 2011 Eastern Storm title. Bobby East was last year’s Grandview feature winner.

Thursday night’s venue is New Egypt Speedway in New Jersey where Hunter Schuerenberg was the 2011 winner.

Friday night’s race is at Big Diamond Speedway in Minersville, Pa. and the finale Saturday night is at Port Royal (Pa.) Speedway.

Jon Stanbrough takes a 56-point lead ovaed Dave Darland into Eastern Storm, while defending Eastern Storm kign Levi Jones is third, just one behind Darland.
