A chip off the old block. Cale Coons has earned honors as the 2026 USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship Max Papis Innovations Rookie of the Year with a superb season in which he became a first time series feature winner.
Over the past week, Gavin Miller has become a bonafide USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship star. Exactly one week after winning his first career series race in Amarillo, Texas, Miller experienced new found glory once again on Saturday night during the 59th running of the Western World Championships at Central Arizona Raceway.
Two more times. We’re gonna celebrate. The final two Midwest events of the 2026 USAC AMSOIL Sprint Car National Championship season bring a double dose of dirt slingin’ to the speedy southeastern Indiana 3/8-mile oval of Lawrenceburg Speedway on Friday-Saturday, October 9-10.
Back in May of this year, Kyle Cummins checked off his first career Eldora Speedway victory in what was his 17th attempt at taming the legendary 1/2-mile Rossburg, Ohio dirt oval. On Saturday night, the Princeton, Indiana racer checked off yet another new feat as he claimed his first career 4-Crown Nationals Presented by NKTELCO triumph, this one worth a cool $15,000.
