Lady driver Shannon McQueen of Tehachapi, Calif. continues to lead the USAC Mopar Western Midget series standings heading into Friday nightโs race at Ocean Speedway in Watsonville, Calif.
McQueen, who leads 2011 series runner-up David Prickett by 18 points and Cole Carter by 19, has strung together four consecutive โtop-fiveโ finishes. Prickett has โtop-sixโ finishes in all four 2012 starts so far.
Fridayโs Watsonville racing program also includes the USAC Western Classic Sprint cars.
